  • HMK Architects is looking to hire a team member seeking licensure or licensed in architecture to our Nashville area team! We have a modern, open working environment with significant opportunity to grow and collaborate. If you are looking for a job with the opportunity to learn the craft of designing buildings and spaces and have a direct impact on communities both locally and around the region, this is it! We are a young team looking to teach and grow our talent in an enjoyable office environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Working directly with principals and with clients to meet the client’s project needs.

    • Meeting with clients to understand, listen, and help them to achieve their project goals & maintain client relationships.

    • Modeling in Autodesk Revit for space planning, design, and production.

    • Grow personally and professionally.

    • Gain experience to become a valued Project Architect/Project Manager on our team.

    • Collaborate with junior team members, delegate tasks, and help lead the project team to design and produce projects.

    • Coordinate design consultants, engineers, and help to lead the overall project team.

    • Communicate directly to the principal in charge of your assigned projects and help set goals, expectations, and timelines for the project.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Ability to think creatively and work through challenging situations.

    • Willingness to learn on the job and work as a team.

    • Desire for professional growth.

    • Good written and oral communication skills.

    • Bachelor of Architecture or MArch degree from a NAAB accredited school.

    • Licensure or seeking architectural licensure.

    • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit for 4+ years.

    • 3+ years of experience in an architectural office.

    Preferred:

    • Proficiency with Adobe Suite (primarily Photoshop and InDesign).

    • 3D visualization experience (primarily Enscape).
